Porsche has announced its new 997, the latest evolution of the iconic 911 sports coupe, now in its 41st year. While this may seem a minor facelift at first glance, there are changes to every exterior panel except the roof. There's a wider track and more emphasis on the wheelarch forms.
BRITISH sports car maker Caterham has announced a new low- priced version of its long-running Seven model. Dubbed the Seven 160, the new model starts at a measly £14,995 in component form or £17,995 fully built. Under the bonnet there is a turbocharged 660cc Suzuki engine and although this only offers up a modest 80bhp, that's still enough to power the lightweight Seven from 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds.
The Lexus RC F (pictured) revealed ahead of its Detroit debut
The Lexus RC F Coupe has been revealed ahead of its debut at Detroit next week, and it looks very promising. Lexus aren’t being specific about its output, but they do say the RC F is “the most powerful V8 performance road-going car ever developed by Lexus” with over 450bhp. That makes the RC F more powerful than the BMW M4 or the Audi RS5 which should mean the Lexus will be able to hold its own with the hot coupés from Germany, with a 0-62mph in the low 4 seconds.
